This information is from Seattle police department. Seattle is a kind of safe city in the US that a lot of people are living here and then they said Seattle was a good place for people to live. In addition, I think, Seattle is a good city that is true because I also living in this city, and I felt it was safe when I walk on the street, even though, at night. However, there are still have crime and happened in somewhere. As a result, no matter how, nobody can really prevent criminal happen in somewhere. I think it how to decrease the crime or how to protect yourself that the way should be fit anybody. There are few ways for everybody how to protect ourselves and your right.



REPORT BOTH BIG AND SMALL CRIMES

Seattle has one of the highest rates in the nation of crime victims who report crimes. This high rate of reporting is very important for FOUR reasons:

1. It helps investigators do their job, since trends and patterns can be more easily discovered.

2. It gives a far more accurate picture of true crime in the city.

3. It shows that the community has confidence that these crimes will be followed up on.

4. It shows criminals that crime is not tolerated, and is taken seriously.
